In 2024, the gravel was regraded and compacted to ensure a stable surface, and drainage trenches were added along the northern boundary to prevent water pooling. Informational signage at the entrance displays local walking trail maps, village history, and tea shop opening hours. Volunteer parish council members conduct weekly patrols to clear litter and assist tourists. A covered duck-pond viewing area adjacent to the lot provides a scenic space for visitors. Directional signage inside the lot guides drivers to the exit onto Station Road.
