Council-run parking with easy access to Manvers Leisure and Summit Shopping Park.
Manvers Car Park 1 is a mid-sized community car park operated by Rotherham Borough Council, providing 75 bays on a tarmac surface. The layout includes three disabled bays at the front entrance, a covered walkway leading to the Manvers Leisure Centre, and a dedicated motorcycle parking area. Pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and the Rothercard ticket, with tariffs set at £1 per hour, £4 maximum for four hours, and an overnight rate of £6. Lighting is provided from dusk until 11 pm, and the site is patrolled by uniformed parking attendants between 8 am and 8 pm daily. CCTV cameras cover all vehicle entry and exit points. The car park lies within a two-minute walk to The Summit Shopping Park, which hosts a Marks & Spencer Foodhall, a pureGym, and several family-friendly restaurants. A bus stop outside the entrance offers half-hourly services to Rotherham and Sheffield. Seasonal maintenance (road sweeping, line repainting) is conducted quarterly by RMBC.
