Market Place Car Park is a council-operated tarmac lot located in the heart of Leek’s historic Market Place. The facility provides 80 marked bays, including four Blue Badge spaces and two motorcycle bays. It is open from 7 am to 10 pm daily; pay-and-display charges of £1.20 per hour (capped at £6.00) apply from 8 am to 6 pm Monday–Saturday via machines accepting coins and contactless. LED lighting operates until midnight, and CCTV cameras cover all entry lanes. Pedestrian exits lead directly to Leek Market Hall (0.02 km), the town’s farmers’ market stalls (Friday mornings), and nearby cafés. A wooden information board details local heritage walks and weekly market schedules. Two 7 kW EV chargers are installed at the lot’s northwest corner.
