A small, rural canalside car park with capacity for around 30 vehicles, located beside the Bridgwater & Taunton Canal at Maunsel Lock. The site is free and unmetered, with a firm gravel surface and no marked bays. It provides direct access to towpath walks, picnic areas beside the lock gates and an adjoining wildlife habitat of wet meadows. There are no toilets or lighting, so daytime use only is recommended. The nearest café and shop are 1.5 miles away in the village of Huntworth.
