Free member parking & pay-and-display for visitors at Meadow Centre
Meadow Centre Car Park is a council-operated tarmac lot serving The Meadow Centre leisure and community hub. It offers around 100 marked bays including eight disabled spaces located near the Leisure Centre entrance. Operating hours are 6 am–11 pm daily; parking is free for registered members; casual users pay via the pay-and-display machine accepting coins, contactless, and RingGo payments (maximum stay 4 hours). The tarmac surface is grooved for drainage and inspected quarterly; potholes are repaired within 48 hours. LED high-mast lighting ensures safe pre-dawn and late-evening use, and three CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian walkways 24/7. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to The Meadow Centre entrance (1 minute walk) and to surrounding sports fields (3 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are available near the entrance, operating on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly litter clearance and boundary hedge trimming maintain a well-kept leisure environment.
