The Meadowhall Oasis Car Park serves shoppers visiting the Oasis Retail Park and IKEA superstore within the Meadowhall complex. With 450 marked bays on a sealed tarmac surface, it includes 10 accessible bays adjacent to the pedestrian footbridge leading to the Oasis entrance. The facility is ANPR-controlled, with free parking for up to three hours and thereafter charged at £1 per additional hour, capped at £8 per day. Pay-on-foot machines accept coins, notes, and contactless payments. The site is open 24/7, with LED lighting ensuring safety after dark and ten CCTV cameras providing full coverage. Covered walkways link the car park to the IKEA main entrance (a two-minute walk) and the Oasis Retail Park. A dedicated shuttle bus operates between the Oasis Car Park and Meadowhalls central mall during peak shopping periods. Regular maintenance, including surface sweeping and line repainting, occurs monthly, and snow clearance in winter is prioritized within two hours of any snowfall.
