Midsummer Place Car Park is a multi-level, tarmacked facility serving the central shopping and commercial precinct of Milton Keynes (MK9 3DX). Operated by Milton Keynes Council in partnership with the Centre:MK management, the structure provides approximately 600 spaces across three levels, including 24 designated accessible bays located on Level 1 near the passenger lifts. Entry and exit are managed via ANPR cameras; casual parking costs £1.50 per hour for the first three hours, then £0.50 per additional hour up to a daily maximum of £10.00, payable at barrier booths or via the MKParking app. The first hour is free for registered Blue Badge holders. EV charging infrastructure (12 × 22 kW rapid chargers) is available on Level 2, free for the first two hours and £0.30 per kWh thereafter. Lighting is provided by motion-sensor LED columns on all levels, ensuring 24/7 illumination, and a full CCTV system is monitored by a central security office. Covered pedestrian walkways link each level directly to Midsummer Place shopping entrances and to the Milton Keynes Theatre (0.1 miles) via a glazed footbridge. The car park is patrolled hourly by security staff, and line repainting and drainage clearance are conducted quarterly. A visitor help point with intercom connects to the control room in case of emergencies.
