Located along the scenic Kancamagus Highway in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, this parking area is the primary trailhead for the popular Hancock Loop Trail. Hikers park here to begin their challenging ascent to the summits of Mount Hancock and South Hancock. The lot is a favorite starting point for bagging two of New Hampshire’s 4,000-foot peaks.
