Nailsea and Backwell Station Car Park is a commuter facility operated by First Bus and North Somerset Council, providing 180 sealed tarmac bays for rail passengers. Twelve accessible bays are located nearest the main station entrance, ensuring step-free access to both platforms via an adjacent covered walkway. Pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and pay-by-phone; tariffs are £3 for up to 12 hours and £5 for 24 hours, with discounted weekly and monthly season tickets available through the council portal. High-mast LED floodlights illuminate all areas from dusk until dawn, and ten CCTV cameras provide 24/7 surveillance. Covered bicycle racks with capacity for 20 bikes are adjacent to the entrance. Regular maintenance includes weekly litter removal, monthly line repainting, and quarterly pothole inspections. The car park is within a five-minute walk of Nailsea town centre, where shops and cafés are available, and bus stops offering services to Bristol and Weston-super-Mare are located 100 metres away.
