National Trust parking for Charlecote Park visitors
Charlecote Park Car Park is a large National Trust-operated surface lot serving Charlecote Park estate. It provides 250 marked bays, including fifteen accessible spaces located near the visitor centre. Parking fees apply seasonally (MarchOctober) via pay-and-display machines accepting coins, contactless, and RingGo; parking is free NovemberFebruary. The gravel-and-asphalt surface is graded to manage runoff, with quarterly inspections and minor repairs within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting provides minimal illumination for early-morning and late-evening visitors, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian areas. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the visitor centre (1-minute walk), to the main house (3 minutes), and to walking trails (5 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are available near the entrance, operating on a pay-as-you-go basis. Boundary fencing and signage are maintained annually; weekly litter clearance and hedge trimming preserve a tidy environment.
