“Free National Trust parking for The Firs House and Dingle Gardens—dawn to dusk.”

Be the first to review

The National Trust Car Park at The Firs is a free, unstaffed facility serving visitors to The Firs House and Dingle Gardens. Located off Crown East Lane in Upper Broadheath, it provides around 80 gravel-surfaced spaces, including two accessible bays nearest the entrance. Open dawn to dusk year-round, the lot is unlit, so visitors are advised to arrive during daylight hours. Pedestrian signage directs visitors along a three-minute path through woodland to the historic gardens, where seasonal shrubs and rockeries await. A donation box at the entrance supports garden upkeep. No CCTV or formal security patrols are in place; National Trust wardens make periodic visits during peak season.
