National Trust Lacock Village Car Park is a free gravel facility managed by the National Trust, located on Pound Pill, serving the medieval village of Lacock and Lacock Abbey. The lot accommodates 80 vehicles on a first-come basis and operates 8 am–6 pm daily; no overnight parking. There is no lighting or CCTV; visitors should arrive and depart during daylight. An information board provides village maps, historical details on Lacock Abbey (film location for Harry Potter) and recommended walking routes through the village’s apothecary and traditional cottages. Benches line the perimeter, offering views of the village square. Pedestrian paths lead directly to the village center (20 m), Lacock Abbey entrance (200 m), and footpaths linking to Bowden Hill (2 km). A charity donation box supports local conservation. No EV charging is available. Seasonal film tours and festivals reduce capacity by 50 %; overflow directed to Chippenham Park & Ride (5 km). Maintenance crews clear litter monthly and inspect signage quarterly.
