Convenient pay-and-display parking in Hersham Village with EV charging
New Berry Lane Car Park is a council-operated surface lot serving Hersham Village Centre. It offers 40 marked bays including four disabled-access spaces located near the pedestrian exit. Operating hours are 7 am–9 pm daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; maximum stay of 3 hours. The tarmac surface is grooved to facilitate drainage and inspected monthly; potholes are sealed within 48 hours. Three LED bollard lights provide illumination from dusk until closing, and one CCTV camera monitors entry and the main pedestrian walkway. Pedestrian access leads directly to Hersham Village shops (2 minutes’ walk), to Hersham Station (7 minutes), and to bus stops on Albany Road (4 minutes). Two 22 kW Type 2 EV charging bays are located adjacent to the ticket machines, available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly litter clearance and bi-monthly hedge trimming maintain a tidy village-centre environment.
