North Street Car Park is a surface-level facility serving Dorkings northern residential district and village green area. The lot offers 80 marked bays on a tarmac surface, including six accessible spaces located near pedestrian walkways. Operating 7 am 9 pm daily, parking is pay-and-display; machines accept coins, banknotes, and contactless cards, with a capped daily tariff and discounted evening rates after 6 pm. CCTV cameras monitor all entry and exit points and aisles during operating hours, and LED floodlighting lines pedestrian pathways to ensure safe access after dusk. A short footpath leads directly to Dorkings village green, local pubs, and bus stops within a two-minute walk. Local bus stops on North Street provide frequent services to Dorking Station, Leatherhead, and Guildford. EV charging is available via four rapid units located near the lots southern boundary. Covered cycle racks accommodating twelve bicycles are provided to support sustainable travel. Regular resurfacing prevents puddles and maintains proper drainage.
