Hilltop parking with Wharfe Valley vistas.
Norwood Edge Car Park is a rural, hard-standing gravel facility located at the summit of Norwood Edge, offering panoramic views across the Wharfe Valley. The site supports up to 25 vehicles, including 2 van-sized bays for commercial access to nearby telecommunications masts. Positioned 1.5 miles north of Otley, it is a staging point for bridleways and mountain bike trails that traverse the rolling moorland to Ilkley Moor. The car park is unstaffed, with a small payment kiosk accepting cash only; standard charges are £2.00 for 3 hours, £4.00 for a full day. There are no lighting columns, so access is sunrise to sunset only (hours vary seasonally). An adjacent information board details route maps to landmark waypoints such as Pinhaw Beacon and the Chevin Ridgeline. The edges are marked by low stone walls, and a grassy verge provides overflow parking during peak periods.
