Nottingham Trent Universitys Hampden Street Staff Car Park is a secure, permit-only facility providing 200 bays on sealed tarmacadam. Access is via RFID barrier gates operational 24/7 for staff and authorized visitors; casual users may book day passes online. Twenty accessible bays (3.6 m wide) are located within 20 m of the Business School entrance, each with drop-kerb ramps and tactile paving. The surface was resurfaced in early 2024; line markings refreshed mid-2024. Uniform LED column lighting ensures glare-free coverage; 12 CCTV cameras with license-plate capture monitor all entry, exit, and aisles. Two 22 kW EV chargers, installed late 2024, are bookable via the NTU parking portal. Covered cycle racks for 50 bicycles encourage sustainable commuting.
