Parking is free of charge for rail and bus users, but users must display a valid parking permit, obtainable from the bus driver upon boarding. Covered waiting shelters with seating and real-time bus arrival information screens serve the hourly Park and Ride service to Colchester town centre, running from 6:00 am to midnight on weekdays, and 8:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekends. High-lumen LED lampposts illuminate all aisles from dusk until 1:00 am, and a network of six CCTV cameras monitors entrances, exits, and the boarding area for 24/7 security.
