Q-Park Surrey Street is a privately operated multi-level facility in central Croydon, serving shoppers, commuters, and leisure visitors. The lot comprises 450 sealed concrete bays across five levels, including 20 accessible spaces on Level 1 adjacent to the lifts for step-free access to all floors. Entry and exit are controlled via ANPR cameras; pay-on-foot machines on each level accept coins, notes, and contactless cards. Tariffs are £3 for the first hour, £2 for each subsequent hour, capped at £15 per day, with a flat evening rate of £5 after 6:00 pm. High-intensity LED lighting illuminates each level from dusk until dawn, and a network of 24 CCTV cameras provides continuous 24/7 surveillance. Covered pedestrian bridges on Level 2 connect directly to Centrale and St Georges Walk shopping malls within a two-minute walk. Covered information boards display local event listings, bus and tram timetables for services to East Croydon Station, and nearby amenity maps. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, structural inspections, and deep cleaning to maintain a secure, user-friendly environment.
