Queen Street Car Park is a council-operated surface lot on Queen Street, near Leek’s municipal offices. The tarmac site offers 50 marked bays, including three Blue Badge spaces and one motorcycle bay. Open 7 am to 10 pm daily; pay-and-display rates of £1.00 per hour (capped at £5.00 per day) apply from 8 am to 6 pm Monday–Saturday via machines accepting coins and contactless. LED lighting ensures visibility until 11 pm, and CCTV cameras monitor the lot. Pedestrian exits lead directly to Queen Street shops (0.05 km), the Town Hall (0.1 km), and Leek magistrates’ court (0.2 km). Two 7 kW EV chargers are provided at the lot’s northwest corner. Seasonal civic events at Town Hall reduce capacity by 15 spaces; temporary signage is displayed.
