Free parking for Rammamere Heath nature reserve.
Rammamere Car Park is a rural, gravel-surfaced facility managed by Central Bedfordshire Council, located at 20 Brickhill Road in Heath and Reach, Leighton Buzzard (LU7 0BA). The lot accommodates approximately 40 vehicles, including 2 informal disabled-access spots on level ground near the entrance to Rammamere Heath nature reserve. Parking is free, but restricted to daylight hours only (approx. 06:0020:00 in summer) due to lack of lighting. There is no CCTV; visitors park at their own risk. The compacted gravel surface is maintained annually, with pothole repairs in spring. A wooden information board at the entrance displays maps of Rammamere Heaths waymarked trails (approx. 3 miles), local flora and fauna, and dog-walking guidelines. Drainage ditches run along the perimeter to prevent flooding. Volunteer Friends of Rammamere patrols ensure litter is cleared monthly. A sealed footpath leads to Rammamere Heaths bird hides and picnic area (0.2 miles).
