Located off Watermead Parks northern reedbed area, this gravel car park provides around 60 vehicles, including four designated disabled bays nearest the birdwatching hides. No payment is required; parking is free, but signage requests voluntary donations for wetland conservation. No lighting is installed, so visitors are advised to arrive and depart during daylight. A pedestrian gate leads directly to the nature reserve trails and hides within a one-minute walk. Informational boards at the entrance display wildlife guides, safety notices, and trail maps. Grounds maintenance includes seasonal vegetation clearance, regular litter patrols, and occasional repair of duckboard pathways.
