Rother Valley Country Park Coach Parking Area is a dedicated surface-level facility located off Pithouse Lane in Kiveton Park, serving large coach parties visiting the country park. The lot offers approximately 20 oversized bays designed to accommodate coaches and minivans, with adjacent unload zones. Operating daily from 7 am to 10 pm, parking is reserved for pre-booked coaches; a booking office at the visitor center confirms arrival times. No CCTV coverage or lighting is provided; daytime use is mandatory for safety. Clearly marked pedestrian paths lead directly from the coach bay to the main visitor center, lakeside trails, and picnic areas within a three-minute walk. Informational signage at the entrance provides route maps and safety guidelines. Local bus stops on Kiveton Lane provide limited services to Sheffield and Worksop. EV charging is not available on-site; the nearest rapid charger is at Rother Valley Way Car Park, a 10-minute drive away. Covered cycle racks accommodating up to eight bicycles are situated near the visitor center to encourage mixed-mode group travel.
