Rotherham Hospital Car Park is a multi-level facility primarily serving patients, staff, and visitors to Rotherham General Hospital. The structure offers approximately 800 covered bays across five levels, including 40 accessible spaces located on Level 1 close to the outpatient entrances. Operating 24/7, parking is pay-and-display; machines on Levels G and 1 accept coins, banknotes, and contactless payments, with pay-by-phone via Flowbird. ANPR cameras grant entry for pre-registered staff permit holders. CCTV cameras monitor all entry/exit points, aisles, and stairwells continuously; bright LED floodlighting ensures safe night-time access. Covered pedestrian bridges and walkways connect directly to the hospitals main entrances, emergency department, and adjacent medical research center within a two-minute walk. Local bus stops on Moorgate Street provide frequent services to Rotherham Interchange and Sheffield City Centre. EV charging is available via twelve rapid units on Level B3 to support green travel. Covered cycle racks accommodating up to 50 bicycles are provided on Level B2 to encourage staff and visitor cycling. Seasonal line repainting, barrier maintenance, and structural inspections maintain a clean, secure, and well-lit environment.
