Ample parking for Roundhay Park visitors.
Roundhay Park Main Car Park is the primary parking facility for Roundhay Park, located on Princes Avenue, Leeds (LS8 2EP). This large, gravel-reinforced and tarmacked area accommodates up to 300 vehicles, including 10 blue-badge bays near the main park entrance. Operated by Leeds City Council, it charges £3.00 per visit via pay-and-display machines or the RingGo app from 07:00 to 19:00; outside these hours, it is free but unlit. There are no EV charging points on site. LED lighting columns illuminate the lot from dusk until 21:00 during summer months; however, lighting is minimal in winter. The car park provides direct pedestrian access to Roundhay Parks lakes, woodland trails, and playgrounds via paved walkways. Public toilets and a small café kiosk lie adjacent to the entry. A ranger patrol ensures safety and enforces parking regulations. Annual maintenance includes regrading of gravel sections and clearing of drainage trenches.
