Convenient long-stay parking with accessible bays, secure lighting, and easy bus links to town centre.
Rous Road Car Park is a larger surface lot situated behind a row of retail and residential properties, offering up to 120 sealed asphalt bays. Four accessible bays are located closest to the disabled access ramp leading to community housing units on Rous Road. The pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and pay-by-phone; tariffs are £1 per hour with a four-hour maximum stay, and a daily cap of £6. High-mast LED lighting ensures illumination from dusk until midnight, and two CCTV cameras cover the full extent of the lot for security purposes. Pedestrian footpaths connect directly to the Rous Road bus stop, which provides services to Newmarket town centre and Cambridge. Bi-monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repair, and litter clearance to maintain safety and cleanliness for commuters, shoppers, and residents.
