Sainsburys Car Park is a free surface-level parking facility reserved for supermarket customers, located on Worthing Road in Horsham. The lot offers approximately 200 marked bays, including twelve accessible spaces located within a short walk of the store entrance. Operating during store hours (7 am10 pm daily), users validate their parking by scanning a valid Sainsburys receipt at the exit barrier for up to two hours free parking; extended stays incur a nominal fee payable at the exit machine, which accepts coins, banknotes, and contactless cards. The asphalt surface is lined with clear bay markings, and CCTV cameras monitor all areas during opening hours. LED bollard lighting illuminates pedestrian pathways for safe access after dusk. A covered trolley bay is positioned adjacent to the store entrance. Pedestrian walkways connect to adjacent retail units and bus stops on Worthing Road, offering services to Horsham town center and Crawley. EV charging is available via four rapid units located near the lots eastern boundary exclusively for store customers. Covered cycle racks accommodating ten bicycles promote sustainable travel. Regular sweeping and resurfacing prevent potholes and maintain proper drainage.
