Sainsburys Car Park is a free surface lot located off Macclesfield Road, serving the Sainsburys superstore and adjoining retail units. The tarmac lot offers 250 marked bays, including ten Blue Badge bays near the store entrance and four parent-and-child bays. Open 6 am to 11 pm daily; no payment is required for parking up to three hours, enforced via ANPR cameras; longer stays incur a £2.00 fee per additional hour billed through posted payment kiosks. LED lighting ensures visibility until closing time, and CCTV cameras monitor all driving lanes. Pedestrian exits lead to supermarket doors (0.02 km), the petrol station forecourt (0.05 km), and Macclesfield Road bus stops. Two 22 kW EV chargers are located near the stores service entrance, free for in-store customers. Seasonal charity grocery collections reduce available bays by 20 during weekends; signage directs drivers.
