The Saracens Car Park is a private lot designated for employees and visitors of the Saracens Steel manufacturing plant in Wath-upon-Dearne. With space for 90 vehicles on a sealed tarmac surface, the facility includes four accessible bays near the security booth at the entrance. Entry is controlled via proximity card barriers; visitors must register at reception between 6 am and 8 pm Monday through Friday. The site is well lit by LED high masts from dusk until dawn and fully enclosed by a six-foot chain-link fence topped with anti-climbers. A total of six CCTV cameras cover all ingress and egress points as well as the interior. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the plants main entrance within 200 metres, and the M1 motorway (Junction 36) is a five-minute drive away. Regular maintenance includes pothole repairs, line repainting every six months, and quarterly groundskeeping to clear debris.
