Seaview Car Park at Sea View Holiday Park is a private lot dedicated to holiday guests and day-trippers visiting West Merseas waterfront. The site features 80 sealed gravel bays, including four accessible spaces positioned closest to the pedestrian path leading to the Marine Activities Centre. Parking is complimentary for in-park guests; day visitors pay a hourly tariff of £1 (capped at £4 per day) via on-site pay-and-display machines accepting coins and contactless cards. Solar-powered LED bollards line pedestrian routes from dusk until 10:00 pm to ensure safe return from evening beach walks. Two CCTV cameras monitor the entrance and accessible bays to deter unauthorized parking. Covered notice boards display tide times, water-sport class schedules, and local bus timetables for the 65 service to Colchester. Pedestrian pathways provide direct access to the award-winning Blue Flag beach, oyster bar, and childrens playground within a two-minute walk. Monthly maintenance includes gravel replenishment, line repainting, and litter clearance to maintain a family-friendly environment.
