Overflow commuter parking at Leatherhead Station with EV charging
Secondary Car Park at Leatherhead Station is a private APCOA lot serving overflow commuter demand. It offers 120 marked bays including eight disabled-access spaces nearest the station entrance. Operating hours are 5 am–12 am daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; maximum stay of 24 hours with overnight flat rate. The tarmac surface is grooved for drainage and inspected monthly; potholes are patched within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting provides illumination from dusk until departure times, and four HD CCTV cameras monitor entry ramps, aisles, and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian access leads directly to station platforms (1 minute walk) and to local bus stops on Station Approach (2 minutes). Two 7 kW Type 2 EV charging bays are located near the payment machine, available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly sweeping and bi-monthly hedge trimming maintain a clean, secure commuter facility.
