Selly Oak Park & Ride is a large surface facility offering commuters an affordable parking option with direct bus service into Birmingham City Centre. The lot provides approximately 250 marked bays, including 15 blue badge spaces adjacent to the P&R bus shelter. Operating hours are 5 ammidnight daily; the site is closed overnight to discourage unauthorized parking. Payment is made via a pay-on-exit barrier system, with rates covering both parking and the bus journey; tickets are purchased at automated machines accepting coins, notes, and contactless cards. The facility is monitored by CCTV cameras covering all aisles and entry/exit points, and LED floodlighting ensures visibility throughout operating hours. A dedicated stop for the Number 61 and Number 48 buses is located within the site, offering 10-minute frequency service to Birmingham New Street Station. Bicycle racks for up to 20 cycles encourage mixed-mode commuting. Additional amenities include a sheltered waiting area, real-time bus arrival displays, and taxi pick-up point.
