24/7 Council Parking for Kelham Island & Cultural Quarter
Silver Street Car Park is a multi-level Council-operated facility serving the Kelham Island and cultural quarter of Sheffield. The structure offers approximately 300 covered bays across three levels, including 14 accessible spaces on Level 1 adjacent to the staircase. Entry and exit are managed via ticket dispensers; pay-on-foot machines accept coins, banknotes, and contactless cards. Operating 24/7, CCTV cameras monitor all entry/exit points, aisles, and pedestrian walkways continuously; LED floodlighting ensures safe visibility at night. A covered walkway leads to nearby restaurants, microbreweries, and the Kelham Island Museum within a two-minute walk. Local bus stops on Leadmill Road provide services to Sheffield Interchange and the Universities. EV charging is available via 10 rapid units located on Level B2 near the lifts. Covered cycle racks accommodating 30 bicycles are provided on Level B1 to encourage sustainable travel. Height restriction barriers limit vehicles to 2 m.
