Smugglers Road Car Park on an unnamed lane near Burley provides 30 gravel-reinforced bays for New Forest walkers and cyclists. Open daily from sunrise to sunset (approximately 6 am–8 pm in summer), parking is free but limited; overflow directs to road-side laybys. No lighting or EV charging is provided to protect the National Park environment. There are no disabled-specific bays, though level ground near the entrance allows easier access. A forest track leads directly into ancient woodland trails within a 3-minute walk. New Forest rangers patrol regularly to maintain waymarks and advise visitors on conservation.
