Free heritage parking with accessible bays and illuminated trails to historic Snuff Mills conservation area.
Snuff Mills Car Park is a public facility managed by Bristol City Council, serving visitors to the historic Snuff Mills park and conservation area. The lot offers 40 sealed tarmac bays, including two accessible spaces located nearest the pedestrian footpath entrance to Snuff Mills. Parking is free of charge, but overnight stays are prohibited. Solar-powered LED bollard lights illuminate the pedestrian routes from dusk until 10 pm, and one CCTV camera monitors the entrance for security. A wooden interpretation board at the entrance displays historical information about the preserved 18th-century water-powered mills and local wildlife. Seasonal maintenance includes line repainting annually, monthly litter picks, and quarterly vegetation trimming to maintain clear sightlines toward walking trails. The car park is a five-minute walk to local bus stops on Fishponds Road, offering services to Bristol city centre every 15 minutes.
