St Andrews Flexi-Stay Car Park is a multi-level facility operated by West Suffolk Council, located adjacent to the Theatre Royal and Abbey Gardens. The lot offers 300 sealed concrete bays across five levels, including 20 accessible spaces on Level 1 near lift lobbies that provide step-free access to all floors. Entry and exit are controlled by ANPR cameras; pay-on-foot machines accept coins, notes, and contactless cards. Tariffs are £2.50 for the first hour, £1.50 for subsequent hours, capped at £12 per 24 hours; discounted evening rates apply after 6 pm. High-intensity LED lighting ensures full coverage from dusk until dawn, and a network of 18 CCTV cameras monitors all levels for safety. Covered pedestrian bridges connect Level 2 directly to the Theatre Royal entrance, and external staircases provide quick access to Upper Westgate Street. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, structural inspections, and deep cleaning of ramps and bays to maintain a secure environment for cultural visitors and commuters.
