St Peters Dock Car Park is a council-managed surface facility located off Bridge Street, serving the Ipswich waterfront and nearby office developments. The lot provides 180 sealed asphalt bays, including ten accessible spaces adjacent to the pedestrian crossing leading to the Waterfront Theatre and Marina. Pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and mobile payments; tariffs are £2 per hour with a daily cap of £10, and an evening flat rate of £4 after 6:00 pm. High-lumen LED floodlights illuminate all aisles from dusk until midnight, and four CCTV cameras monitor entrances, exits, and accessible bays for security. Covered pedestrian pathways link directly to the Waterfront Theatre, student residences, and adjacent bar/restaurant quarter within a two-minute walk. Covered information boards display theatre schedules, local event listings, and bus timetables. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter removal to maintain a vibrant, safe environment for theatre-goers and waterfront visitors.
