This is the main visitor parking area for Stephen C. Foster State Park, a primary entrance to the magnificent Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. Located at the end of Highway 177, the lot provides access to the park’s trading post, boat rentals, guided tours, and hiking trails. A Georgia State Parks ParkPass is required for all vehicles. This parking lot is the starting point for any adventure into the swamp.
