Barrier-protected parking behind Stoke-on-Trent station
Stoke Station Car Park is a Network Rail-managed surface lot located off an unnamed access road behind Stoke-on-Trent railway station. The asphalt site offers 180 marked bays, including six Blue Badge bays and two motorcycle bays. The lot is open 24 hours; barrier entry and exit are enforced via ticket scanning. Pay-on-Exit machines accept coins, contactless cards, and mobile payments. Tariffs are £5.00 per day for pre-booked rail users and £1.50 per hour for non-rail users, capped at £8.00 daily. Eight 22 kW EV chargers are located near the station entrance, available to rail users at discounted rates. LED lighting provides illumination until 1 am, and CCTV cameras cover all aisles. Pedestrian subways and lifts connect to station platforms. A cycle hub for 20 bicycles is adjacent to Platform 1. Weekly maintenance includes surface sweeping and bay repainting.
