Scenic reserve parking for world-class birdwatching
A free, rural car park of around 80 gravel spaces serving the WWT Steart Marshes reserveone of the UKs premier wetland habitats. The site provides visitor information panels, a bank of picnic tables, and a seasonal toilet block at the reserve entrance. Daylight-only access is recommended to protect nocturnal wildlife; low-level lighting guides paths to the main bird hides and accessible boardwalks. Ample space accommodates cars, minibuses and small coaches, with overflow meadow parking during peak migration seasons. Birdwatchers, photographers and families enjoy direct access to ten hides overlooking reed beds, lagoons and mudflats rich with waders and waterfowl.
