Free woodland parking for Swithland North trail access
Serving the northern entrance to Swithland Wood, this gravel car park accommodates around 60 vehicles, including four disabled bays closest to the trailhead. No charges apply; however, parking after dusk is discouraged as no lighting is provided. Information boards at the entrance display detailed trail maps, wildlife guides, and safety notices. A pedestrian gate leads directly onto waymarked trails within a one-minute walk. During peak weekends and bank holidays, a volunteer ranger may collect voluntary donations for site maintenance. Grounds maintenance includes seasonal vegetation clearance and litter patrols.
