There is no lighting or CCTV; visitors should park during daylight hours only. An information board at the lot entrance provides maps of the Peak District Boundary Walk and Goyt Valley trails. Benches and picnic tables overlook the agricultural valley below. Pedestrian paths lead directly to the Goyt Valley footpath (200 m) and Queens Drive entrance to Buxton Country Park (1 km).
