This parking lot is the main public access point for Towner’s Woods, a scenic park managed by the Portage Park District. The park is a local favorite for outdoor recreation, featuring several miles of hiking trails that traverse mature forests and dramatic ravines carved by a tributary of the Cuyahoga River. It is also home to a popular 9-hole disc golf course and contains significant historical points of interest, including ancient Hopewell earthworks.
