Free community parking with accessible bays, short-stay limit, and direct access to Great Cornard Village Hall.
Village Hall Car Park serves the Bull Inn and adjacent community hall in the Great Cornard area of Sudbury, providing 30 sealed tarmac bays. Two accessible bays are located nearest the pedestrian entrance to the community hall. Parking is free of charge but limited to a maximum stay of two hours to ensure availability for community events; enforcement is conducted during function hours by local volunteers. Solar-powered LED bollard lighting illuminates pedestrian paths from dusk until 9 pm, and no CCTV is installed due to low traffic volumes. Covered notice boards at the entrance display village hall event schedules, local notices, and footpath maps. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the Bull Inn and adjacent recreation ground within a one-minute walk. Quarterly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter collection to preserve a neat environment for community gatherings.
