Nature reserve parking for Wall Common birdwatching
A tarmac surface car park accommodating up to 80 vehicles at the entrance to Wall Common nature reserve. Free to use, with clear waymarking to walk the 4-mile circular trail through reed beds, marshland and woodlands. Picnic tables and interpretive boards explain the local birdlife, including rare waders and wildfowl. Lighting is minimal to preserve nocturnal wildlife activity, so after-dusk use is discouraged. No toilets are provided; nearest facilities are at the reserves visitor centre, 1 mile along the lane.
