Commuter station parking with ANPR, accessible bays, and season-ticket options.
Walton-on-the-Naze Station Car Park is managed by Greater Anglia in partnership with Tendring District Council, serving rail commuters and visitors to the seaside town. The facility offers 100 sealed tarmac bays, including six accessible spaces adjacent to the station building for level access. ANPR cameras control entry and exit; pay-on-foot machines inside the station entrance accept coins, notes, and contactless cards. Tariffs are £3 for up to 12 hours and £5 for 24 hours, with discounted weekly and monthly season tickets available online. LED floodlights illuminate the lot from dusk until dawn, and four CCTV cameras monitor entrances, exits, and accessible bays for security. Covered cycle racks accommodate up to 30 bicycles to encourage sustainable travel. Covered signage displays train timetables to London Liverpool Street and Norwich, as well as local bus connections to Clacton. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter clearance to maintain a safe, commuter-friendly environment. The car park is a two-minute walk from the platform.
