Warren Wood Car Park is a free, unmarked gravel parking area managed by Natural Resources Wales, located just off the A44 approximately one mile southwest of New Radnor, serving visitors to Warren Wood and the famous Water-Break-its-Neck waterfall. The car park sits at the start of several waymarked walking trails through Radnor Forest, including the short Waterfall Walk (0.9 km, easy grade), the moderate Water-Break-its-Neck Trail (1 km), and the more strenuous Warren Trail (2.3 km) with steep climbs and Victorian-planted monkey puzzle trees. Facilities include a small picnic area immediately below the main parking bay, information panels with trail grades, benches at key viewpoints, and ample turning space for cars and small campervans. There is no barrier or ticket machine; parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. The car park is open year-round, and although unlit after dusk, it is widely used by walkers, birdwatchers, and families exploring the woodland and gorge. Dogs are welcome under control, and there are no chargeable fees. The surrounding landscape features mature mixed broadleaf and conifer stands, with occasional moorland vistas.
