Free parking for Watermead Country Park South entrance
Located at the south entrance to Watermead Country Park, this hard-packed gravel car park provides approximately 80 spaces, including five designated disabled bays near the information kiosk. Parking is free of charge year-round, but seasonal signage requests voluntary donations for park maintenance. No lighting is installed, so visitors are encouraged to arrive and depart during daylight hours. A pedestrian gate leads directly to lakeside trails, picnic areas, and the canoe launch site within a one-minute walk. Occasional ranger patrols monitor the site to deter overnight camping. Grounds maintenance includes weekly litter collection and seasonal vegetation clearance along the perimeter.
