Commuter parking at West Byfleet Station with EV charging
West Byfleet Station Main Car Park is a council-operated surface lot serving West Byfleet railway station commuters. It offers 180 marked bays including ten disabled-access spaces located near the station entrance. Operating hours are 5 am–12 am daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; maximum stay of 24 hours with an overnight flat fee. The tarmac surface is grooved for drainage and inspected monthly; potholes are repaired within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting ensures early-morning and evening safety, and four CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian access to the station. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to West Byfleet station platforms (1 minute walk), to local shops on Station Approach (3 minutes), and to bus stops on Monument Hill (4 minutes). Two 22 kW Type 2 EV charging bays are located near the ticket machines, available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Daily litter clearance and monthly hedge trimming maintain a clean commuter environment.
