Westgate Car Park is a surface-level public facility operated by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, serving Westgate retail units, small businesses, and the nearby police station. The tarmac lot accommodates approximately 150 vehicles, including six accessible spaces located near the entrance gate. Operating MondaySaturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, parking is pay-and-display; machines accept coins, banknotes, and contactless payments, with pay-by-phone via the Flowbird app. CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and central aisles during operating hours; LED bollard lighting lines pedestrian pathways for safe evening use. A paved walkway leads directly to Westgate Arcade, charity shops, and bus stops within a two-minute walk. Frequent bus services on Moorgate Street connect to Rotherham Interchange and Sheffield City Centre. EV charging is not available on-site; the nearest rapid charger is at Rotherham Interchange Car Park, a ten-minute walk away.
