Wharf Car Park is a private surface lot reserved exclusively for permit holders associated with Orwell Quay offices and nearby waterfront residences. It offers 50 marked bays including four disabled spaces near the gated entrance. Access is controlled via RFID tag readers operational 24/7; no casual parking is permitted. The tarmac surface is grooved for drainage and inspected quarterly; pothole repairs are completed within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting ensures minimal illumination for early-morning and late-evening access, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian pathways lead to Orwell Quay offices (1 minute walk) and to the riverside walk (2 minutes). No EV charging infrastructure is installed; permit holders may use the nearest public charger at Albion Street Car Park, a 10 minute walk away. Monthly litter clearance and planting bed maintenance maintain a professional environment.
